Restaurant Removal Request

If you’d like to remove your restaurant’s listing from the Timp app, please follow the instructions below. We respect your privacy and aim to process requests promptly.

1. What this page is for

This page allows restaurant owners or authorized representatives to request the removal of their restaurant listing and associated data from the Timp platform.

2. What happens when you submit a request

  • We will permanently delete

    • The restaurant page, menu details, photos, reviews, and contact information associated with your restaurant.
    • ssociated user-generated content created by your listing (such as content created by staff or influencers).
  • We will stop displaying your restaurant on our platform, search results, and promotional materials.
  • Reserved: In rare legal or regulatory cases (e.g., financial audits, fraud investigations), we may retain limited records strictly as required by law, but we will no longer display or use them in Timp.
  • After removal, this action cannot be reversed without re-applying to re-list your restaurant anew.

3. How to Request Removal

Send an email to contact@thetimpapp.com with the subject line: "Restaurant Removal Request"

In your email, include the following details:

  • Restaurant Name
  • Registered Business Address
  • Business Phone Number or Email (used on Timp)
  • Your Full Name and Role (e.g., Owner, Manager)
  • A brief statement requesting the removal of your restaurant listing from Timp
  • Optional: Any supporting documents that verify your ownership or authority (e.g., utility bill, license, or business registration certificate) that verify your ownership or authority

4. What we need from you

Proof of identity or that you are an authorized owner/manager may be required before fulfillment, e.g., an email sent from your registered business domain.

  • A government business registration number, or
  • A photo of a recent utility bill in the restaurant’s name.

5. How long will it take?

  • We aim to confirm receipt within 48 hours.
  • Removal is generally completed in 10 business days, but may take longer depending on verification.
  • During this period, your listing may no longer appear publicly or be accessible.

6. What if I only want to delete part of the data?

If you'd prefer partial removal—such as removing certain photos, contact information, or menu updates—please specify your request in the email or web form. We’ll review and fulfill those exceptions where possible.

7. After removal

  • You’ll receive confirmation once your listing and data have been removed.
  • You can contact contact@thetimpapp.com if you have any issues or don’t receive a response within the stated time frame.
